The HeSeL Reader is a Personal Health Record (PHR) solution known as a Personal Owned Health Record (PoHR) that enables users to store and organize their personal health records on their mobile devices. It allows users to manage medical images (DICOM files) from medical facilities such as CT, MR, PET scans, endoscopic images, as well as PDF documents easily accessible from their handheld devices. Users can securely store not only their own health records but also those of their family members, ensuring quick access even offline. By consolidating medical records from multiple institutions into a single mobile device, users can conveniently carry and utilize them during consultations with healthcare providers. Furthermore, comparing current health records with historical data can aid physicians in conducting comparative studies, potentially reducing redundant tests and costs.

The HeSeL app serves as a mobile DICOM viewer compatible with Android smartphones and Apple iPhones. Following an examination, medical images can be received promptly through either the HeSeL Writer or HeSeL MD systems available at the corresponding medical facility. Alternatively, the HeSeL app's 'Import files' feature supports the transfer of CD/DVD medical images (DICOM) from medical facilities to smartphones via a PC or network connection.

To access comprehensive health examination results, users are required to register with the health examination center (medical institute) within the HeSeL application. Approximately one week after a standard examination, all examination results will be collectively gathered and delivered. Depending on the volume of requests at the center, full results may take up to 10 days to process during peak periods. Users are advised against uninstalling the application during this period and are encouraged to contact the health examination center directly for any inquiries. Medical images can also be received upon successful registration with the health examination center.
